Dismissed. Like a child spoiled rotten, You chose to play fragility. Tired of a doll upon having it. Leaving it to be buried in dust as time passes... Her glow fading along with a piece of her heart.
shredded and peeled away, A part missing everyday.
Promises made were nothing but lies, Piercing and slicing the flesh, Regardless of my cries.
Smirking with satisfation, Laughing at the fool you created. Grinning with such ego, Smiling at every triumphant thought.
A foolish doll I was, Gullible enough to believe. Used and worn like clothes, Criticised and dumped like a toy.
Feeling obligated to forget, An obligation I must oblige. The truth was told, It seems that I was the fool from the beginning. Time to forgo the memories I can no longer hold...
Love,
Brenda.
