Surprise

Strolling along the streets,
With lights gleaming like the stars above;
I wished for happiness’ deed…
Or the touch of it from a pair of magic gloves.

Surrounded by people,
Yet, an empty space exists.
Loneliness was tripled,
As a puzzle piece was seized.

The night was young.
A pleasant surprised occurred.
A touching frame in time was found,
For the lost seven years purred.

A perfect cake sat on the table.
With precious company around;
All was like a fable,
As a commoner was crowned.

Love,
Brenda.
