I haven't updated in quite awhile. 2007 has kept me pretty busy thus far. As usual, work and my love are the only things that is occupying most of my time. As well as the occasional meet ups with Ling. Speaking of her, we met up at Starbucks yesterday. Hours went by us as we indulge ourselves in catching up and ridiculous smack talk, even when we decided to head back to my place... we wouldn't shut up. =D

A little something that I wrote back when I was sixteen. I found the original written version wedged in between my photo album.

Silent Note

Give me your absence tonight.
Take the colours away and leave the white.
Cringing in darkness, fearing the light...
Sinking deeper in silence that echoes inside.

Beauty cursed with bitter sorrows,
Sweet whispers ringing the ears...
Waking up to a new tomorrow,
A dreamer's heart was pierced.

Roots of my soul hum a gentle tune;
Pangs of a woeful melody heard.
Changes made at a full moon,
Ghosts in history hauntingly lurk.

Different faces attempt to hide,
Tears of wretchedness in disguise.
Blood of a forsaken bride,
Praying to be newly baptised.
