I haven't been to work and attend any of my night classes all week long. My rash is covering my entire body except my face and genitals. I look horrible and I'm itching all over. It's awful. Fortunately, Nick's been kind enough to take care of me. My family puts me through ridicules, while this man accepts and actually cares about me. Whatever happened to family will always be there?... Sheesh.
Anyway, the doctor doesn't have a clue on what's wrong with me. My blood work came out normal. I don't have dengue, malaria, strep or allergies. In the end, all I got was tons of antibiotics and other medication to stop the itch, and a letter to be excused from work for a week. His diagnosis: Viral Infection. In other words, the doctor can't tell what's causing the rash.
I did some of my own research on Google to find our more about my condition. I am dissatisfied with the non existent diagnosis from the doctor and having to suffer for over a week. I am happy to announce that I have identified the problem and I think sometimes doctors are really useless.
What I have right now is a kind of Viral Xantham caused by a sinus congestion or infection not getting cleared out of my system. Now, my body is fighting off whatever virus that is inside me. And, the rash is a result of the battle going on inside my body.
I found this dude blogging about the same thing. http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/snarl/2006/06/05/my-worst-weekendever/
I am glad to know that someone else besides me had this. Makes me feel a whole lot better and not so much of a freak.
Love,
Brenda.
